Jeff

Tennessee, Florida,
Miami, LSU, Arizona,
Florida State, and
dozens of other colleges
at the Division I,
II, III, NAIA, and
NJCAA levels. A popular
speaker, Jeff has
also conducted hundreds
of programs for high
schools, club sports,
and coaches clinics/conventions
all across the country.
Janssen is the chief architect and lead instructor for groundbreaking Leadership Academies at North Carolina, Stanford, Pittsburgh, Yale, and Illinois. The comprehensive Leadership Academies set the standard for leadership development in collegiate athletics and have positioned Jeff as the world’s most sought after expert on the emerging field of Sports Leadership.
A
prolific writer, Jeff is the author of several
books, articles, and videos on peak performance,
team building, and leadership. His groundbreaking
books Championship
Team Building, The
Seven Secrets of Successful Coaches
and The
Team Captain’s Leadership Manual have
received rave reviews from coaches around the
world. He has produced workbooks including
Jeff Janssen’s
Peak Performance Playbook and The
Mental Makings of Champions. His
videos include Winning
The Mental Game, and The
Psychology of Sensational Hitting. Jeff’s
articles have appeared in several coaches’
magazines and newsletters including: Winning
Hoops, Scholastic Coach, Championship Performance,
Coaching Women’s Basketball, Coaching Volleyball,
Basketball Sense, Fastpitch Delivery, The Basketball
Highway, Court Awareness.
In
addition to the sports world, Jeff speaks to and
consults with Fortune 500 companies from the business
world helping them to gain a competitive advantage
in the corporate arena. A member of the
National Speakers Association, he is one of a
select few outside individuals who regularly speaks
at the prestigious FedEx Corporation Leadership
Institute in Memphis.
Jeff
began his career as the Peak Performance Coach
and Assistant Life Skills Director for the University
of Arizona athletic department. For eight
years Jeff’s cutting edge peak performance
strategies contributed to several National Championships
and Pac-10 Conference championships. His
work also helped Arizona receive the inaugural
CHAMPS/Life Skills “Program of Excellence”
Award for having one of the nation’s top
Life Skills programs.
Upon
leaving Arizona, Jeff created Janssen Peak Performance,
a professional consulting and speaking firm
which provides high level sports and business
teams with the insights, strategies, and tools
they need to perform to their potential. Jeff’s
expertise has helped thousands across the country.
With a real passion
for his work, he continues to develop programs
and products to help people maximize their potential
and enjoyment for sports, business, and life.
Jeff
lives in the Raleigh/Durham
area in Cary, North
Carolina with his
lovely wife and business
partner Kristi. They
have a son Ryan and
daughter Jill who
will be eligible
for scholarships
in 2017 and 2019.
The Janssens enjoy
spending quality
family time, traveling,
eating at great restaurants,
reading, and playing
and watching sports
of all kind.
